Customers Comment about the Maya Wrap Slings

I wanted to thank you for showing me how fabulous the Maya
Wrap Slings are. My firstborn, Caedon, was extremely colicky and fussy in
the evenings and my husband and I would literally have to hold, bounce and
pace around with him as the only relief to his crying. The day I came home
with the Sling I purchased from you was a wonderful blessing! Caedon
snuggled inside and either my husband or myself was able to carry him
easily (and with much less strain on ourselves) and actually do things
around the house while he slept peacefully. What a relief for two
exhausted parents! With my second due here in a few weeks, I’ve
got the Maya Wrap within easy reach, washed and ready. Thanks so
much, Kathy!”

When we are going to be in a place where we might have to
carry our grandchildren, I always try to remind our daughter to bring the
sling. I have a difficult time carrying the children, because after a short
time my back begins to hurt. The sling is a wonderful treat for me because
it puts their weight on my shoulders instead of on my back. If we don't
bring the sling I have to ask my husband to carry them, and I miss out on
that special time of closeness with my grandchildren. Thank you, Kathy for
telling us about the sling.

"We love it,
my husband uses it and our 3rd child loves it. It keeps our hands free to
watch our 2 other kids. It doesn't hurt your back like other baby carrying
products. Thank you, Kathy."

"Thanks, Kathy! I
must tell you the story of one of your slings. Remember I had you send a
sling to a childhood friend of mine (Marian) who was adopting from Russia?
Last month, my sister and I drove to Kentucky for a Book Fest, and we stop
for the night in Nashville where Marian is now living with her husband and
two year old Russian boy. What a charming child! After dinner he wandered
out of the kitchen carrying the sling. He put it in our laps to show us and
told us, "Sing." Which Marian told us is his word for his sling. She said he
loves it. I was amazed that he made a point of showing it as if he knew
somehow that it had been a gift from me. Another sing... I mean ... sling
success story. Thank you for providing such an appreciated product."

"I have been meaning to write for a long time. I got my
maya wrap about 2 years ago just after having my 6th child. I wish I had known about them
and tried them 12 years ago! The one time I really understood how valuable and useful it
is was when we took a trip to Disneyland with our 6 children the baby being only 6 months
old. The wrap enabled me to hold her and push a stroller at the same time for my 2 year
old. The baby loved being able to sit up and look around, and still be close to mom. We
also were able to switch and carry our 2 year old when the baby napped in the
stroller
without breaking our back. We were there for 3 days and did lots of walking. My back was
not sore as it had been on previous trips when trying to carry a small one who can't
always keep up. I had many people there who had babies ask about it and I happily shared
this valuable information. Thanks for such a great product. I still keep the wrap in the
car in our emergency pack. I figured if something happened on the road and I needed to
walk it would be great to help with the younger ones if they couldn't make it."

"First off I'd like to thank you for such fast service.
We have been using the sling since we got it and it's been such a boon to me, especially
on shopping trips! Gail is of the age that likes to either be held or walk around the
store (she's twenty months); but she HATES sitting in the cart! So I just pop her in and
we're golden. She even slept in the sling when I was able to get her from the car seat
into the sling without too much jostling. I was quite amazed! I would recommend the Maya
sling to all mothers, be they expecting or with older babes. Thanks again."

"Simply can't live without my Maya sling. It's the
perfect way to keep up with my busy toddler while holding baby close. It works extremely
well in Kindermusik class. Baby gets to sing and dance with mama, while my hands are free
for brother."
--> Lori Roth, Highland Village, TX
"I have been meaning to email you and tell you that I
love the Maya wrap now. I was kind of afraid to use it when she was really small, but now
she really likes it. It is so much better that the front pack because she can
really move
around in it. In the front pack, she was pretty much stuck."
--> Kimberly Haswell, Redwood City, CA
"The Maya wrap is really a lifesaver. Last week we went
to the science museum. While we were watching the Imax movie, Conner fell asleep in my
arms. I slipped the sling on and snuggled him easily as we walked around the rest of the
time. Then, as we were leaving the museum the wind was blowing a lot of dust from a nearby
empty lot. I simply pulled the extra cloth over his head enough to protect his face. He
slept soundly all the way."
--> Jamie Rodriguez, Lewisville, TX
"Here's an alternative to those baby carriers. I just
started using mine with Christopher, since he's over the weight limit of those smaller
carriers. And it's great when we go to the store and I use it in a shopping cart."
--> Irene Balderas, Westminister, CO
"I LOVE giving Slings. To me it is the best way to
support a new mother. By giving her the Sling, it is assured she will keep the baby close
to her. By giving her the Sling, it tells the new mother, "This is the way it is
suppose to be. Love your baby. Be close." This is the most important message a new
mother can get, particularly since mainstream society seems to have forgotten this, and
does everything to cause separation, intentionally or not. All other baby carriers carry
the baby away and separate from the mother. Now which would you want to be carried in...a
plastic tub, or a supple, colorful wrap next to your mother's heart? Babies know! It is
imperative for their mental and emotional development to be carried by their mother.
(Joseph Chilton Pierce, The Magical Child) And it is imperative for the development of the
mother/child relationship. So I give the Sling, and say don't skip or skimp on this
important and precious time to hold your child. Held babies are happier, healthier babies.
I see it all the time. Please feel free to use this in anyway to promote the Sling. I
could write more..."
